Salloum and Salloum won a competition to design a signature 52,000sqm hotel in Khobar, KSA. At the time the project would have been KSA’s first Leadership Energy Efficient Design (LEED) silver hospitality project. The five star 200 key hotel includes 13 floors of offices, landscaped podium and boutique retail space. The design incorporates elevated gardens, passive shading devices and photovoltaic placed to maximise exposure to the sun whilst harnessing and storing clean energy.
